Constitute this i at a record shop in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, over Christmas while I was visiting some family. Had the paper fully intact and was in very skilful shape. It was $12.00.

After a cleaning, it sounds perfect.

Very good pressing that is mastered and manufactured well. Very dynamic and very little noise. I'm pretty happy with this one!

My copy sounds wonderful for a 10 dollar copy at my locals tape store. Sounds virtually unplayed!

Gave this pressing a listen this morning and goddamn is information technology well-baked. It has to be ane of the best sounding records in my collection and shows an incredible comeback over the original U.Due south. pressings of the 3 preceding Tull albums- Stand, Benefit, and Aqualung. Super crankable, quite bassy, yet still precise. Might take hold of the Steven Wilson remix LP today to compare, merely anyone who needs a cheap and neat-sounding pressing of this would be served well by this pressing! (I got mine for $2 USD, strong VG)

Un album avec seulement 2 chansons et en plus c'est two fois la même! Mais 2 versions complètement différentes. La première version est extraordinaire et la 2e version est un chef d'œuvre de musique progressive. 43 minutes de pure bonheur à écouter.

Very detailed sound, just overall information technology seems a little "digital" to me. Smashing way anyway to listen to the guitars of this fundamental stone verse form.

This japanese version sounds extremely good. And some more words.

Comparing this to the 180g vinyl of the same source (2012 Steven Wilson Stereo Remix), I'd have to requite the edge slightly to the digital version. The vinyl sounds phenomenal. The distinct advantage is the bass. Yous feel it roll under your feet. Y'all experience the pluck of bass strings more in your gut. But some of the high-ends sound done out compared to the digital files, and they can exist a bit harsh at times too.

The instrument clarity is superior on the digital files also, beingness able to best display the subtle nuances like fingerprints lightly gliding beyond the wound wire of a guitar string, while maintaining a balanced level of body across all sounds. That being said, the album sides are rather long, which I believe causes the suffering in the vinyl version. What would be best is a 45 RPM version on UHQR (instead of Aqualung), merely given that the long album sides are individually meant to be played in a truly continuous manner, not just back-to-back, information technology would exist difficult to break up for the side splits on the 45 RPM version. That sound though, for this vivid of an album, would be an impeccable brandish of the capabilities of vinyl. The 180g LP version nearly beats the hi-res digital version in its ain right.

Who cares what weight it is? (It definitely is labelled as 180gm though) Mr Wilson works his magic yet over again. I have two original 70'south copies and I would say this version is superior in sound quality and pressing quality, non often I say that. The album itself of course is a progressive masterpiece.
