Minnie Evans Art Project for Kids

Minnie Evans was a new-to-me artist that I became fascinated by her beautiful and intricate face designs. At the end of the schoolhouse yr I taught about her artwork to my altitude learning students. Notre Dame Watercolor and Ink Drawings

I realize I had never shared these amazing Notre Dame watercolor and ink drawings my 4th and fifth course students fabricated at the end of last year. We learned well-nigh the compages of the building and the kids used watercolor and Sharpie pen to create these beautiful pictures. This technique can be used with any architectural lesson or perchance a lesson on Medieval gargoyles.

My fourth/5th graders learned nearly the creative person Mr. Doodle and watched several videos of him doodling. You can see his artwork on his Facebook page. Sharpie Drawings on Tin Foil

I did learned this technique from my co-worker Jayne, who taught information technology during summer school last year. My students and I recently made two colorful artworks for our school fundraiser. Nosotros painted a stool with acrylic paints. I had kids from grades M-three come up two or three at a fourth dimension to accept turns painting the sections. Later the base layer was dry out, nosotros used mag cutout words to decoupage the stool. Black sharpies were too used to outline and accent the edges. My tertiary, fourth and fifth class students simply finished up these gorgeous fall nonetheless life paintings. Ancient Egyptian Art Choice Menu

I realized I never posted pictures of our finished landscape at church.  I've been then decorated with stop-of-the-year stuff for schoolhouse. I worked on this mural all yr with the 4th/5th class Sunday School class.  It is 4 ft x 8ft. These were the best kids to piece of work with! One of the first projects my 4th/5th grade students created this year were personal "About Me" folded squash books.  The kids were introduced to a simple foldable bookmaking technique and then they personalized them with drawings and collages nigh themselves.  Each section of the book had a prompt to get them started.
